What is working

The market has bounced so it is always a good time to check up on the new high lists to see which stocks and which industries survived the best.

I check out Maoxian on my blogroll pretty much every evening for the list.

It is tough really staying in touch without my personal watch lists, so I don’t have the best daily feel.

I see Garmin (GRMN – I am long) continues to torch ahead, I see the shipping companies bounce back strong and selected new highs from various industries.

If the bounce stretches out in time, this list will expand and I will add some positions in a manner that reflects the new high list.

Two small new positions are:

BMRN – Biotech

WBMD – Internet

I remember watching Healtheon sit at $7 forever and now that they have spun off WebMD into it’s own public company – shazam, a raging stock in the $40’s. I will post my charts on these two purchases later, with my stop prices.

Previously profiled longs – PFWD, RENT and EWM I remain long and have not been stopped out during the selloff.
